This looks a good opportunity for CADRE who is taken to get the better of Cara's Request and Billy Dane. The selection finished lame on his seasonal reappearance at Lingfield but he left that running behind when scoring impressively at Yarmouth last time out. He is clearly quite useful and he is also unexposed so his penalty should not be a problem and he should prove tough to beat. Billy Dane is in great form and he is bidding to complete the hat-trick today. However this is quite competitive and his 6lbs penalty may just find him out. Cara's Request won well when last seen out but he has been off the racecourse since October. He has only raced so far on soft or heavy ground so his ability to handle conditions is also a concern. Mr Hichens had a purple patch last season but he has been some way below his best since, although he should come on for his recent seasonal reappearance at Kempton. Visions of Johanna and Angel Rock are others that can't be ignored in a tough race for punters to fathom, but there should be more to come from Cadre and he gets our nomination to land the prize.
