Halcyon Lodge and Lyndalee have both shown promise and should win races in due course but there are some interesting newcomers here and the vote goes to Crimson, who is preferred to Dhekraa. The last mentioned is a daughter of Fasliyev trained by Michael Jarvis but being out of a Last Tycoon mare may want a softer surface to be seen at her best. Similar comments apply to Richard Hannon's Desert Flair, who is out if a Selkirk mare, while Jeremy Noseda's In The Wings filly In The Fashion may want further. Kevin Ryan's Korolieva showed promise first time out from a bad draw at Beverley and cannot be discounted along with Tim Easterby's Lyndalee, who should strip fitter for her debut run behind Bow Bridge. Paul Cole's Halcyon Lodge has the benefit of two outings and showed respectable form on each occasion but preference is for Mick Channon's Crimson, who is a likely type on pedigree being a daughter of Fasliyev and from a stable that has made a smart start with their juveniles.
