Elliots World has failed to progress as anticipated since winning York's Acomb Stakes last term and is probably best passed over under top weight in his first handicap, with preference for Notability, who gets the vote over Wedding Party. The selection looks a progressive colt and won tidily at Chester's May meeting last time for which a 6lb rise looks perfectly fair. Sir Michael Stoute's Home Affairs beat the selection by three lengths in a Yarmouth maiden in September and is now 4lbs better in but the son of Dansili was well beaten in the Dewhurst subsequently and has not been seen since so it remains to be seen whether he has trained on as well as Notability. John Gosden's Jalamid holds solid claims on the evidence of his reappearance success at Newbury but disappointed at Doncaster last time and is probably best watched at present, while his conqueror there Real Quality is going the right way and has to be respected. Pivotal Flame would prefer a softer surface and of more interest may be Amanda Perrett's Wedding Party, who showed progressive form last term and hails from a stable in form. Notability looks a progressive three-year-old though and is taken to give trainer Michael Jarvis another winner.
