In depth

Verdict

MEAN IT was quietly fancied on last month's racecourse debut over C&D and he ran a big race when just failing to catch Kaafel with the re-opposing One For The Girls well beaten. Tom Tate's charge should open his account here with normal improvement and is the one to beat. Sunnybridge Boy also went close on his introduction at Doncaster but that was over a year ago and he's changed stable's since. He'll figure if retaining his ability while Madame Blavatsky ran well when runner-up on her debut on the Flat last month and is preferred to Daffyd and Native Eight on that evidence.
