Verdict

Though he won over 3m over hurdles after making a winning start for Nigel Twiston-Davies at Ffos Las, this longer trip could be an issue for Hill Sixteen. Sojourn has taken well to fences and took another step forward with an easy victory over 3m2f at Carlisle but has suffered a further 11lb rise in the ratings. Roll Again made all at Ludlow earlier this month but both UK victories have come on that sharp track. Enqarde and Crixus's Escape are other recent winners but Colin Tizzard has been quietly bringing HIGHEST SUN to concert pitch. The six-year-old still has bags of scope over this sort of trip and conditions won’t be a problem. Sam's Adventure often flatters to deceive and seems best at Newcastle but he is starting to slip down the ratings again.
