After pulling up four times in a row, BENNYS KING was more like his old self when holding off Magic Saint at Hereford, with favourite Envious Editor tailed off, and Heidi Palin claims 7lb again in this. Welsh Saint won twice over hurdles but has yet to win a chase or a point-to-point whereas Famous Clermont has won seven times between the flags and hunter chases at Exeter and Wincanton on going similar to today’s. Caryto Des Brosses also looks a threat as he’s another who has been prolific in points and has won under Rules.
