Verdict

Collectors Item beat MAKIN’YOURMINDUP a couple of lengths at Kempton but the latter may well have held on that day had he not missed out the last and is 4lb better off. Saint Palais seems much better over fences and disappointed behind Dr Kananga at Bangor in November. The King Of Ryhope and Mr Vango are unexposed and closely matched on the form book while Supreme Gift is 3-4 over timber. Passing Well is another with claims having finished fourth in the Challow at Newbury two runs ago when ahead of a couple of subsequent winners but Scarface was pulled up in a handicap latest and tries a new trip.
