        Verdict

        Claim To Fame hasn't been seen since a mid-April debut at Thirsk and the market may prove the best signpost on this return to action. The outstanding record of Tom Dascombe at this track is there for all to see, so Skittlebombz needs taking seriously despite doing nothing more than okay in an ordinary Ayr maiden. Freddy Robinson didn't settle well on debut, so did well enough to finish a running-on fourth at Pontefract and should come on for the experience, but similar comments apply to MITBAAHY, only eighth of 11 on debut but not disgraced when not particularly strong in the market in what looked a decent Newbury novice.
