      Verdict

Eccleston finished ahead of Flying Pursuit, Intense Style and Blaine when fourth in the Ayr Silver Cup but past form gives him something to find with Another Wise Kid. Classic Seniority beat Fendale, Giant Spark and Dark Defender when following up an earlier Chester victory in the Ayr Bronze Cup but Michael Dods' charge comes out best of that quartet at the weights today. Edward Lewis has twice run well over course and distance recently but is still creeping up the handicap and no certainty to reverse form with Ustinov. Recent rain makes TATLISU an interesting proposition off a mark of 89. He's been running better than form figures would suggest and is now 8lb lower than winning at Ayr a year ago. Boomerang Bob is another who has fallen to a very lenient mark.
