In depth

Verdict

Master Wood, The Butterwick Kid and Csea Hitch Em look the principles in a competitive hunter chase and we will side with Master Wood. The 13-year-old was a good second behind Star Of Raven at Wetherby last time and a reproduction of that effort will make him hard to beat. The Butterwick Kid has been in fair form between the flags of late and won well last time out. However, although he travels well in his races he finds little off the bridle so for that reason is opposed. Csea Hitch Em is another in fair form but his best efforts have come over a slightly shorter trip, while Torduff Express hails from the Paul Nicholls yard so is worth noting in the market, but he may just need the run after a lengthy absence, so for the winner we return to Master Wood.
