      Verdict

      FIRE BRIGADE (NAP) finished strongly into third in a much better race than this at Ascot last month. With the weights compacted here, Michael Bell’s course and distance winner wouldn’t need to improve much on that to get back on track and he’ll be suited by the give in the ground. Glorious Forever was a little disappointing at Ayr but this is probably his best trip so he shouldn’t be written off just yet. Mutawakked appears to have two ways of running but did finish ahead of subsequent winner Wigan Warrior when second here in June and also holds Sidewinder on that run.
