Saville's Delight bounced back to winning form last time and must be feared despite top-weight, but this may rest between Efidium and Aswan, with the last named getting the decision. The selection had no chance at Beverley last time after being hampered at the start. Previously he had put up a very promising display at the same track when a close third in a classified race against horses rated some ten pounds superior. Back in handicap company he holds very strong claims. Savile's Delight bids to follow up a recent course victory over Time N Time Again, the burden of ten stone 4 pounds may just prevent a follow up, but he will be difficult to keep out of the frame. Efidium used to be a shade unreliable but has found a lot more consistency this season. His recent close up fifth behind Young Mr Grace makes good reading in the context of this event and a bold showing is expected. Best of the remainder could be Far Note, but his stable-mate Aswan is the one that should prevail.
