Verdict

WHAT'S THE STORY hasn't run at this level for three years and was only beaten a length in a Doncaster Listed contest last year. He's on his lowest mark for four years and can take advantage of the drop in grade. He finished just in front of Lightening Company at York last month though the latter didn't quite get the run of the race and is an obvious threat. Stately Home won a Class 5 Pontefract handicap but couldn't handle a 6lb rise in better grade next time. Fame And Acclaim hasn't won since arriving from Ireland though he's gradually dropping to a winnable mark and his trainer will find a race for him soon.
