    Verdict

QUEEN OF DEAUVILLE made most for a convincing victory over the trip at Carlisle where she looked likely to improve a great deal for the experience. A double looks on the cards though Sugar Hill Babe belied a 250/1 SP with a fine debut at Nottingham. Snuggle couldn't go the early pace over 6f on the same track so could find this on the sharp side but Match Play led for a long way when tackling the same trip at York. Tanzanite was well supported at Carlisle so better must have been expected.
