Queen Gamrah completed a double at Kempton and Newcastle then went close to landing a hat-trick at Wolverhampton when conceding 9lb to the winner. She'll improve this season as will her stable companion Festival Day, a very easy winner at Chepstow before finishing last in the Group 2 Rockfel at Newmarket. Kuwait Shield scored at Catterick then just failed to outbattle the winner on his first all-weather start at Southwell. Finest Sound twice ran very well at Sandown before beaten a long way into third at Newmarket and has had wind surgery. Blue Skyline showed potential in his three starts and looks on a fair mark as does EL NASERI. He also had three runs in the autumn and finished close up in all of them suggesting he'd do better in his second campaign.
