      Verdict

      Only Magic Wand was preferred to Kinaesthesia in the betting for the Cheshire Oaks but Ralph Beckett’s filly never went a yard on the Roodee and finished tailed off. She is better than that and preferred to the other previous winner Saving Grace but won’t find it easy giving weight to SACRED PATH (NAP), a superbly-bred daughter of Galileo who still has an entry in the Ribblesdale and got going too late behind Gather on debut at Goodwood. Elasia is also in the Ribblesdale and cost 200,000gns as a yearling while Godolphin run Forest View, the first foal of a 1m2f winner in France, though she has no fancy entries yet.
