Verdict

A small field here for this novice chase but all can be given some sort of chance on a course that takes plenty of jumping. Brockton Mist has been in good form over hurdles this season already and he made a pleasing debut over fences when second behind Haut Cercy he will have learnt from that experience and will be hard to beat. Celtic Pride was a good winner over hurdles on this course last season he will have been well schooled and rates the main danger with his yard beginning to hit top form. Cracking Dawn was a hurdle winner on soft ground at Fontwell last season and if he takes to fences he to would be a danger to all. Wildfield Rufo showed promise in hunter chases last season but may find one or two with a bit to much toe for him here.
