In depth

Verdict

Sharja Bridge, recently gelded, has probably been flying too high in Group 1 company but was only beaten half-a-length in a Group 2 at Sandown in April. However, it’s probably worth sticking with the late-developing MISS O CONNOR (NAP) until she has her colours lowered. William Haggas’ filly took the step up to Listed company in her stride here four weeks ago and ground conditions aren’t going to be a problem. Great Scot is pretty consistent and another proven over track and trip on ground with plenty of give while Matterhorn has come on in leaps and bounds this year. Here Comes When won this on heavy going last year but has only managed one run this season. Raising Sand and What's The Story step up from handicap company.
