Verdict

The Tin Man bids to become only the second dual winner of this Group 1 but he disappointed last time behind German raider Waldpfad and Stewards’ Cup winner Khaadem. Dream Of Dreams almost caught Blue Point in the Golden Jubilee and didn’t have much luck in the July Cup so shouldn’t be written off just yet. Brando was an honourable second in this last year and also runner-up to Advertise in the Prix Maurice Gheet at Deauville last time so is respected but stablemate HELLO YOUMZAIN could offer more value. After beating the much-hyped Calyx here in the spring. Kevin Ryan’s three-year-old missed the break in the Commonwealth Cup but was staying on strongly near the finish and is proven on soft ground. Ryan Moore has switched to July Cup third Fairyland after the defection of Ten Sovereigns and the tough Ballydoyle filly can't be ignored.
