Verdict
Old comrades Anna Bunina and West Cork renew rivalries and it’s notable that the Irish raider is tried with a conditional rider to get the weight down. Luttrell Lad is interesting and its worth remembering that he was fourth in the Aintree bumper in 2021. Milkwood won the Scottish Champion Hurdle last season and has been raced very sparingly since. CORMIER probably hasn’t had the credit he deserved for his win in the Morebattle at Kelso and he can build upon a seventh in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham. Herbiers is sure to carry lots of local interest given connections and he has very solid claims of hitting the frame at a working man’s price.
