Corporal Maddox picked up a handicap in Ireland last time when finishing well ahead of Beau Mistral at the Curragh. He should go well again despite a 6lb higher mark but it's hard to find an excuse for Lionheart's poor effort at Brighton as he'd already won at that track earlier in the year. Mon Brav is not easily dismissed back over 6f and looks sure to make a bold bid but BOP IT it taken to finally come good. The latter has gone close in his last three starts now including a third over course and distance and it could be his turn today.
