Galician is impossible to assess. He hacked up at Hamilton this week from the long odds-on Quick Wit despite the latter having plenty in hand on the ratings but just five days earlier the Johnston inmate had finished a tailed-off last of 10 at Newcastle. She is obviously talented but impossible to predict. The Godolphin pair heading the weights have not been seen since featuring at Meydan in the winter months and it would be no surprise to see the other Johnston contender, SHEBEBI, come to the fore. A winner here in May, he ran acceptably well when ninth of 27 in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot behind Roca Tumu and has already scored twice at this 7f trip. Boots And Spurs seeks the hat-trick and should be in the mix despite being hiked 9lb for two latest successes including a half-length success over Galician.
