In depth

Verdict

Henry's Joy finished well ahead of Never Up at Carlisle but this trip will test his stamina. Diggin Deep was a winner over hurdles when last seen in May but didn’t show much over fences first time around. Speak Of The Devil, on the other hand, was making his debut over the larger obstacles when second at Newcastle and further improvement is likely. THE OGLE GOGLE MAN (NAP) needed the run at Chepstow last month and was allowed to come home in his own time. That should have blown away a few cobwebs and Charlie Mann’s stayer is now just 2lb higher than when completing a double at Uttoxeter around this time last year. Cobolobo is best watched at present but Garrane could figure following a pipe-opener.
