Fox Hill is fairly consistent and is effective over 5f and 6f. Shepherds Way got back to winning ways over track and trip last time but is now 7lb higher. Afandem was second off this mark at Ripon in July and pops up every now and then but Majestic Sands has been disappointing this year and has switched stables while former stable companion Cloudea has been off the track for more than a year. Seen The Lyte has claims if in the mood but can start slowly and SOMEWHERE SECRET (NAP) is probably more reliable. He loves it here and has the ground in his favour again so gets the nod to defy a 6lb rise and a step up in grade.
