In depth

Verdict

A case can be made for several of these including the progressive First Impression, who won at Redcar on his return while It's Good To Laugh finished runner-up in this grade at Newbury last month. But ARCH MOON won over a mile here on his handicap debut and has plenty of scope for further progress with this extra distance expected to suit. Stablemate Tombolo, Bath winner Surrey Pride, Louganini and Master The Stars all go handicapping for the first time while Zegalo may finish closer today dropping down in trip with headgear fitted.
