In depth

Verdict

Alternative Fact will handle the ground and has a shout on a recent placed effort at Ascot and it was soft going when Mustarrid won at Nottingham last year. Club Wexford went close in a lower grade at Ayr last time while The Met finished third over track and trip on his handicap debut and is also upped in class. David O’Meara has a good record in this contest and Shelir could go well but a chance is taken on KRYPTOS. A progressive three-year-old in 2017 winning three times, he was having his first outing since at Newmarket last month and can race off the same mark as when last successful.
