Cosmeapolitan was an impressive winner of an amateurs’ contest at Newbury earlier this month but has gone up 10lb for that and may struggle in this tougher contest, along with fellow Newbury winner The Graduate. Spinners Ball won on his handicap debut and is less exposed than many of these but preference is for CARRY ME HOME. His win at Newmarket was solid enough and he’s likely to improve further for this step up in trip, with the booking of Frankie Dettori another plus. Evening Hush finally got off the mark in Ireland last time and is also of interest on her handicap debut.
