    Verdict

FIVETHOUSANDTOONE floundered on the heavy ground in the Commonwealth Cup at Ascot on his reappearance but his second in last year’s Mill Reef at Newbury is the best form on offer and he gets another chance taking on these older sprinters, including 2019 winner Danzeno. The latter also ran below par in the Wokingham at Ascot last time but should be in the mix today and is preferred to Lampang. Motagally finished in front of Judicial when runner-up at Beverley but Meraas has undergone a wind operation and has been gelded since last seen in action.
