This looks a good opportunity for ALPINISTA (NAP). Sir Mark Prescott’s filly returned to action with a defeat of Makawee in Listed company at Goodwood and a repeat of last year’s second to Love in the Yorkshire Oaks would make her hard to beat. It’s been sometime since a three-year-old won this though Mystery Angel finished ahead of Dubai Fountain when runner-up in the Oaks and the latter has since finished fifth in the Ribblesdale. La Lune beat Cabaletta when winning the Group 3 Pinnacle Stakes here in May and could go well again but Tribal Craft faces different conditions having won in soft ground over 1m6f at York while Bharani Star and Lady Hayes have plenty to find on these terms.
