Famille Rose was easy to back at Leicester but stayed on strongly in the closing stages and was only beaten half-a-length. The winner was trained by Clive Cox, however, so the Lambourn handler should have a good idea where he stands with KOHINOOR. She was fancied on debut at Goodwood but got trapped behind horses and the winner had flown by the time she extricated herself.
