A downpour might make Fullandby of interest at big odds however this should lie between Global City, Genki and CASTLES IN THE AIR, with the vote going to the last-named. Richard Fahey's gelding has won at the track before and wasn't disgraced in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Ascot last month. The return to this trip should be in his favour and he should give backers a good run for their money. Edge Closer is a player on the figures and his handicap form from this season looks solid without being spectacular, Enderby Spirit shaped with more promise behind Group Therapy at Beverley (form might be franked in the 2.00 Sandown), whilst Captain Dunne is all speed and he might just find himself swamped late on and missing out on the top prize. Global City is the top-rated and he has looked a very progressive sprinter in Dubai over the winter. Not all of the horses have run well on their first run back from the Middle East though so he is not one to lump on. Redford often flatters to deceive, and along with Rileyskeepingfaith, Medicean Man and Edge Closer is held by Genki on their running in the Wokingham. Roger Charlton's gelding is fitted with blinkers for the first time but must be respected, especially if any rain does fall on the track. Another open event but preference is for Castle In The Air.
