In depth
Verdict
Ice Slice just held on to land a four-timer when successful here in May but is upped a further 5lb. Chosen Character is at his best here and also won his latest start at the track but in a lower grade than this. Zealous is another stepping up in class after scoring at Doncaster while though Mont Ras won this back in 2013 he rarely gets his head in front nowadays. WELD AL EMARAT (NAP) was beaten only a head when runner-up at Newbury on his reappearance and first start for Simon Crisford. He looks capable of winning off his current mark on that evidence and can go one better.
