In depth

Verdict

Those at the head of the weights appear exposed and COUNTRYWIDE FLAME makes appeal from the lower reaches. John Quinn's charge made all here when last seen on the level to repel the challenge of the odds-on Fire Fighter before making a successful debut over timber at Market Rasen. The dual C&D winner is clearly in good heart. Sharp Sovereign just failed to land a competitive Pontefract handicap last Sunday and has gone well here in the past and looks sure to be on the premises. Pandoro De Lago is 8lb better off with Petomic compared to recent running and there should be little between them with the Fahey charge also open to improvement. Key Breeze's Beverley success brings the Ryan inmate into the equation too.
