CAPTAIN BALDWIN had an unsuccessful spell of hurdling before returning to the Flat where he showed signs of improvement before scoring under Jordan Nason at Ayr. That wasn't much of a race but this isn't much better and he can complete the double. Cheers Buddy has won once on Turf in 22 starts but has dropped to a lowly mark as a consequence and ran quite well on his return from a long break at Carlisle. Crucis Abbey, a winner at Wolverhampton last month, has performed with credit subsequently on Turf and should go well and though Tukitinyasok hasn't won for over three years he did a bit better last time and can't go much lower in the ratings. Top weight Hellbender has won six times in 63 races, all on the all-weather.
