Verdict

It pays to follow sprinters in form and so it may prove beneficial to choose between Karminskey Park, Strensall and Kings College Boy, with the last named getting our vote. Richard Fahey's gelding is steadily coming back to his best and ran a cracker at Ripon last time to finish within half a length of Torrent. Paddywhack was back in third and has since been successful at Thirsk so the form has been boosted. Strensall was behind the selection in that Ripon contest then improved to finish third in Paddywhack's event, he will not have to step up much more to make a race of it today. Karminskey Park will be a danger to all having finally returned to winning ways over course and distance beating today's rival Aahgowangowan in a tight finish. The runner up is entitled to reveres the form today but may not be as well suited by the ground. In conclusion a very competitive heat, Kings College Boy will give us a good run for our money.
