Irish challenger Value Plus has shown enough in decent maidens to get the verdict here, with Shivaree and Secret History set to provide most danger. Joanna Morgan's filly came up against Aiden O'Brien's Russian Blue on her debut and going down by five lengths to that potentially top class performer was no disgrace. Since that opening effort she hasn't been beaten far in two valuable races at Leopardstown and Fairyhouse, this looks a much less taxing affair. Shivaree will be the main threat to the selection having shown plenty of promise when third behind Baltic Dip at Goodwood. The winner ran well in a listed race at Newmarket on Saturday and the runner up went in next time before finishing a close up fifth behind Jewel In The Sand at Royal Ascot so the form is rock solid. Secret History made a very pleasing debut when making Krynica pull out all the stops at Pontefract last week and will no doubt come on for the run. The others make little appeal and Value Plus looks set to get off the mark.
