In depth

Verdict

Al Khabeer attempted to make all over 1m2f at Beverley but was caught in the closing stages and drops back down in trip. Fishable and Lola Showgirl move in the opposite direction having both placed over 7f last time but KING FAIRY may prove the one to side with. He lost a shoe when finishing a well beaten third at Newbury on his debut but gets another chance given the Haggas yard have an impressive strike rate at this venue. Of the newcomers, El Ray is a full-brother to a Group 1 winner and preferred to Haskayne with Poetica looking her yard’s first choice ahead of Vincitomnia.
