Sting Like A Bee is the pick over Lennel, Encounter and Rotuma in this class E handicap. Sting Like A Bee won on his only previous try at nine furlongs, at Wolverhampton in January, and has since performed with credit over a variety of trips. Jim Goldie's charge finished fourth in a lady riders race at Doncaster on his return to Turf last month, and although not the most reliable of performers, has a better chance than most here. Lennel has topweight to overcome and a drop back in trip, but did boast a couple of wins last August. They were on fast ground though and he will find conditions testing here. Encounter is not badly treated but has not been in form, while Rotuma is a course winner. The rest have nothing to offer, and we return to Sting Like A Bee as the answer.
