      Verdict

      Kuraka would have every chance if taking part but had decent claims at Newcastle yesterday. ELECTION DAY has gone close on a couple of occasions including over today’s trip and he may prove good enough in this. Stevie Brown was runner-up at Thirsk last time and that looks similar form to Pepys placed effort at Beverley but Golconda Prince was still beaten five-lengths when third at the latter track recently. Taxmeifyoucan is related to a host of winners and one to note on his racecourse debut.
