A large field goes to post for this seller but on closer inspection not many can be giving a serious chance of winning but the principals appear to be Ambushed, Beamish Prince and Achilles Rainbow and we will take a chance on Ambushed. The gelding from the Peter Monteith yard was a fair third behind Lennel in similar grade last time and if he can be held up slightly longer he will be hard to beat on a course that suits. Beamish Prince rates the main danger on his latest effort in a handicap behind Millennium Hall. He will be suited by the drop in grade and if the rain stays away he would have definite place claims. Achilles Rainbow was a fair fourth in this grade last time behind Royal Windmill and a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Of the remainder Short Respite ran as if returning to form when second behind Lennel last time when he defeated Ambushed by a short head. However we are happy to stick with Ambushed as he is more consistent.
