PIONEERING finally took advantage of a slide down the weights when scoring at Musselburgh by over three lengths and can go close again now back to winning ways. Granite City Doc finished in front of Dragon Mountain when fourth at Newcastle but had earlier found Zealous too good at Carlisle but Dutch Coed has already won four times this year and beat Betty Grable when also scoring at Carlisle in July. Remmy D won a lower grade contest over a shorter trip here last time but Star Of Valour was beaten only a nose. Knightly Spirit is also upped in class after landing a seller at Ripon.
