Verdict

Further rain shouldn't be too much of a hindrance for Glenveagh who can defy a 6lb rise in the weights. The selection showed a good attitude when successful recently at Carlisle. With first-time cheek-pieces on, he showed good all-round speed and may have these on the stretch from the gates. Virtuality looks the type to pick up a small handicap off this mark of 62 but was disappointing last time, so a bigger danger may prove to be Orpen Bid who has shown that she can handle a bit of cut, although she is yet to open her account. Andrasta has at least won a race, not comments that apply to Lucky Character. Top-weight Danzig Fox drops in trip today and we may see an improved performance as a result, however in a trappy handicap we will stick with Glenveagh.
