Moujoudh is undoubtedly the class act in this field but his form is on better ground and despite the positive form shown by Mick Channon's horses, he is not one to be lumping on at short prices. Maunby Rocker has proven form on the ground and belied odds of 50/1 to score at Carlisle last time out. Officially, he has six pounds to find with the Channon horse but this going may serve as a terrific leveller. Oaksy has shown little in his races so far while Shatin Special and Fortuna Mea look nothing to write home about. The Teamtalk nod is speculatively given to Michael Bell's newcomer, Vilas. Entered in the Redcar Two-Year-Old Trophy, he is a son of Inchinor and as a relation to Damancher, there is plenty of scope for the shrewd trainer to work on.
