In depth

Verdict

Ashn Thunder, a Thunder Gulch half-brother to Aspasias Tizzy, would not need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut and Mark Johnston's colt is taken to do just that getting the vote ahead of Lets Get Cracking and Sonar Sound. The last mentioned has shown some promise in his two starts but needs to improve to trouble the judge and he may be best watched. Robbie Scott, like the selection, is trained by Mark Johnston and he would need to improve considerably on his debut effort to get involved so a bigger threat may come from Clarricien, who ran with credit on his Chepstow debut. Lets Get Cracking should step up on the form of his Thirsk debut and is another to consider but Ashn Thunder makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and he is taken to make a winning start to his career.
