Verdict
A cracking Class 3 handicap which has attracted an understandably strong field. Keith Dalgleish fires three arrows at the target, with Platinumcard best of the trio as a highly progressive 6-y-o with few miles on the clock. He's expected to go well again but a 5lb penalty adds to the difficulty of his task. Where's Jeff, in a competitive vein of form, merits attention off his unchanged mark and Rich Dream is a lightly-raced sort who could be anything as he makes his handicap bow. Tricorn has a claim but LEGENDARY DAY looks a progressive sort who ran a fine race in a hot handicap at the Newmarket July meeting last time and seems sure to appreciate the extra furlong here.
