Verdict

Another competitive sprint in which WADE'S MAGIC receives the vote. He's a consistent sort who ran a solid third at Beverley last week in a decent race for the grade behind impressive winner, Arnold, and it's interesting to see Tim Easterby return him to action quickly. He should be in the mix in what looks a trappy affair. Rose Bandit is enjoying an excellent campaign and just got home last time. This looks tougher though and she continues to climb the ratings. Dapper Man can never be ruled out in this type of race and Sound Of Iona is also respected, whilst it would be dangerous to ignore the claims of the two three-year-olds - Roman Encounter and Iris Dancer.
