      Verdict

      It was soft going when Smart Lass won over a shorter trip at Musselburgh in May with Four Kingdoms well behind. The latter went close at Carlisle earlier this month while Battle Angel debuts for new connections having failed to win in Ireland. Bouncing Bobby placed at Musselburgh and is preferred to Too Big To Fail but a chance is taken on SUMMER POWER. The latter will be sharper for a recent comeback and the half-brother to smart stayer Mildenberger should relish this extra distance.
