Colour Contrast looked sure to win for the first time in 19 starts when getting alongside Fyrecracker at Musselburgh on Saturday but again ducked the issue - he is one to be wary of. Thornaby Nash is back in the right grade but has been beaten twice off similar marks since scoring at Nottingham last month. Diamond Avalanche is 0-19 on Turf and another with an unfavourable high draw while Captain Revelation seems better on the all-weather. LUCKY VIOLET is the only one of Linda Perratt’s trio to have had a recent run. Though he’s shown his best form so far at Musselburgh, he’s been given a chance here by the handicapper and has the plum draw.
