Kings College Boy looks the percentage call against the downgraded pair of Flying Edge and Bonnie Lad. The gelding could round off what looks to potentially be a good day for the Richard Fahey yard. He finished second to Stoic Leader here in May and he looks a much more backable proposition now that the blinkers have become a regular feature. Flying Edge is interesting in this grade. Now with Eric Alston, he looks well treated off a mark of 50 and this formerly useful two-year-old for Jamie Osborne will not get a more modest opportunity to open his account. Bonnie Lad has shown little this term but a second to Consignia on firm ground at Catterick reads creditably in such a weak contest. Lionel Andros and Long Weekend are duly noted in the market for any positive signs.
