Cyclonic Storm looks the selection ahead of Escalade and Apache Point in this trappy handicap. Richard Fahey's gelding loves fast ground and would have finished closer at Redcar last time out had he not stumbled at the start. His current rating of 67 does not look too harsh on what has been achieved thus far. Apache Point gained just reward for a string of decent efforts when taking a contest at Redcar. Katiypour has since let the form down a little and a 4lb rise in the handicap may stop the Tinkler charge. Escalade is back to what is arguably his best trip and the handicapper is at least giving him a chance at the weights. Leatherback would prefer cut in the ground while African Sahara has not totally convinced over this trip. Highland Warrior is watched in the market from a decent pitch.
